The key to social media for business is building relationships. Think less marketing, more relationship building. Building relationships requires engagement. How do you keep your followers engaged? Here are a few great ways!
1) EVENTS! Let them know about events: training, webinars, networking events, whether they are your events or another company’s events. Invite them to join you at events!
2) HOLD A WEBINAR! This is a great way to provide valuable information to your followers. It will also make them more likely to sign up for your newsletter providing them with information they can in turn share with others.
3) ASK QUESTIONS! Ask a question. That prompts a response. It doesn’t have to be about your business, it could be about a current event, or something random.
4) BE A TEAM PLAYER! Team up with a brand that fits with your company. This way you combine social media efforts. Hold events together. You both benefit & your audience does too! I do this often and it works great. It’s a great way to expand your network.
Social Media should be fun, and all these things are FUN ways to grow your business. Get creative with these tips. Make it fun for you and your audience. Be social!
